Bethesda Christian Counseling has a long history of service to pastors and churches in the Tri-state area. Bethesda has received financial support from local churches and has offered many training seminars for both laity and pastors as well as offering quality Christian mental health care to the Christian community.
In an effort to further enrich and deepen this cooperative relationship Bethesda offers a community/parish based Clinical Pastoral Education program which is an in-depth, accredited pastoral training experience to area pastors, seminarians and lay people serving in church leadership positions. The Bethesda CPE program is specifically designed for pastors and lay leaders who desire to become more effective in their pastoring and leadership skills while serving in their congregation.
Learning is done in such a way as to encourage the student to integrate his or her theology into one's leadership style and pastoral work with people. The Bethesda CPE program is nationally accredited through the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education. For more details and how to enroll contact Rev. Dean Meeter at the Sioux Falls Bethesda office.
