Benevolence
This fund is established to assist with client in counseling who suddenly experience financial need in order that they do not experience additional stress or a break in service. The availability of this service is basic to our mission as a Christian counseling service.
Education
DeWaard Memorial Fund: This fund was specifically established to honor the memory of Denny DeWaard, past station manager of KDCR at Dordt University and a long time board member at Bethesda. It is the wish of the DeWaard family that a fund be established to support specifically Christian education for Counselors at Bethesda and we are honored to offer this option to potential donors.
New Therapists
Beginning that first year as a therapist can be very tough as it takes time to build a practice. Many young therapists are struggling with graduate school debt as well as possibly young families. This fund is established to help those beginning therapists get “over the hump.” Consider this opportunity to come along side those who seek to come along side others.
